Activities & Training Reports: EMDR China
1.We organized a one day online virtual forum on trauma recovery on 10th March. This was the second forum since last year. There were over twenty thousand participant viewers this time.
- Organized three Part I EMDR basic training in three different cities of China by last weekend. There were over one hundred and twenty participants.
- For widespread knowledge of EMDR and to increase the quality of participants who want to attend EMDR training, designed an orientation related to special training of trauma and stabilization with EMDR features.
- At the national conference of the Chinese Mental Health in June, I and the other senior Chinese EMDR members had presentations about EMDR in clinical practice.
- A research article published last year by Chinese psychiatrists, EMDR versus waiting list in individuals at clinical high risk for psychosis with post-traumatic stress symptoms: A randomized controlled trial.
